If in the event you can not post and you end up with a bad or partial flash there iS still hope if your floppy drive lite is on... It is called the AMIBOOT Method... Do this after all your attempts to repair the inital flash fails...

(1)... Get a new floppy disk or a formatted disk " A fresh floppy is best "...

(2)... Rename a BIOS file to AMIBOOT.ROM uppercase is a must { Example- chb0429.rom to AMIBOOT.ROM }

(3)... Copy the newly renamed file to the Formatted floppy...

(4)... Insert the floppy into the drive then turn on your machine while pressing your ALT+HOME keys...

(5)... Your machine should give you 4 beeps then remove the AMIBOOT floppy and restart your puter...

Your puter should of at this point replaced the bad BIOS with the good one...
