Hi Marco,
First step is to ensure you have configured your panel for use with FSGarmin530 and the autopilot facilities.
This is done using the Panel Manager. Assuming the above has been done, the use of autopilot linking facilities between
FSGarmin530 and Flight Simulator is very simple.
1. Ensure the NAV/GPS switch in your Flight Simulator aircraft is set to GPS
2. Load and activate a flightplan within FSGarmin530
3. Press the CDI button on FSGarmin530 and ensure the device is in GPS mode. If FSGarmin530 is already in GPS mode, press the CDI button to place it into VLOC mode, then press the CDI button again to place it back into GPS mode.
4. You may now optionally turn on the Flight Simulator autopilot and set it to NAV mode. Alternatively, you can keep the Flight Simulator autopilot turned off and fly the flightplan manually.
That's it. If all goes well, the active flightplan in FSGarmin530 will be transferred across to the Flight Simulator GPS. This allows the standard Flight Simulator gauges such as the OBS to be used rather than relying on additional third party solutions. These instructions are also the same when using FSGarmin530 in remote mode.
Wie auch woanders macht auch hier nur die Übung den Meister.
