Valve Software's Doug Lombardi dropped us a note with one line that should excite everyone this morning: "Half-Life 2 will be shown at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo." Details on what they will show, whether or not it will be behind closed doors or on the show floor and if it's actually playable were not disclosed - but if you needed a reason to be excited about E3 then this may just be your gateway to the unimaginable.
