Ohne es selbst mal getan zu haben, bzw. wirklich näher damit beschäftigt zu haben:

Du brauchst eine Firmware als .bin Datei.

Zum aufspielen hab ich noch folgendes gefunden:


In order to transfer files from PC to STB you can use the HyperTerminal application in MS Windows. Set HyperTerminal to communicate via serial port (COM1, COM2, ...). Set the serial port parameters as follows:

Bits per second : 115200
Data bits : 8
Parity : None
Stop bits : 1
Flow control : None

File transfer must be done according to 1K Xmodem protocol.


STB steht für Set Top Box.
