Hallo Kosbo,

Orginal-Text CH-Products:

Toe Brake Activation Instructions:

Pre-unified driver release the pedals will operate as a seperate joystick. Therefore, Flight Simulator 2000 will assign ailerons, elevator, and throttle control to the rudder pedals. This is of course difficult to use. To get the rudder pedals functioning as they should, you will need to reassign the axis assignments in the game itself.

To do this, first launch Flight Simulator 2000.

When on the runway, click on Options
Select Controls
Select Assignments
Click on the tab labelled Joystick Axes.
For the joystick type combo box, select the CH Pro Pedals USB
From here, delete all assignments until all axis are empty.
Next, click on the Rudder assignment then click the button labelled Change Assignment.
Move your rudder pedals using the left/right rudder movement. You should now see Axis 3. Click OK.
Your rudder pedals are now ready to be used. The next step is to edit your fltsim2000.cfg file to reflect new changes that cannot be made in the Flight Simulator 2000 GUI. This file is located in your Flight Simulator 2000 directory (For example: c:\program files\microsoft games\fltsim2000\). I suggest opening the configuration file using a text editor such as Wordpad. Once opened, look for the category labelled either [JOYSTICK_00] or [JOYSTICK_01]. One of these will hold the characteristics of your pedals (if the directions above were followed correctly, the joystick that is assigned to the USB pedals will have only one axis event entry underneath(since the other events were deleted).
Once you have figured out which joystick is programmed to the pedals, you will need to make the following changes:

AXIS_EVENT_00=BRAKES_LEFT
AXIS_SCALE_00=1
AXIS_NULL_00=0
AXIS_EVENT_01=BRAKES_RIGHT
AXIS_SCALE_01=1
AXIS_NULL_01=0

Save the changes you have made to the configuration file and launch Flight Simulator 2000. You should now have digital toe brake functions.

Please note that this information is provided AS IS. CH Products will not provide any additional support for your Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 configuration file.

Bei funktioniert es. AbundZu bremse ich zwar in der Luft....

Ciao
