Hi Rob,
the error code "read after write check failed" could be caused by different things:
1.) check that the levels at the test points are correct (use the test button )
2.) Cable length between FSCom and Key interface (was very critical in Version 2) Is the Pin 2 of the 10 poly connector on ground? That measure was taking as there was some crosstalk between Pin 1 and Pin2 (now pin 2 has been moved to pin3 in order to use the pin2 line as some kind of shielding (capacitive divider) to reduce crosstalk.
3.) make shure there is no shortened or open line on the board. You will have to check with a magnifier glass to find shorts or broken connections caused by etching process.
That´s basically all what could cause such failure.
Believe me FSBus is really working well and sofar all the failures people had problems with were related to short circuits or interruption on boards.
Hope this helps.
