ad 1.) Bitte poste deine fetchmailrc. Ich habs bei mir mit einer eigenen in /home/steve/.fetchmailrc gemacht, bei dir ist es vielleicht die /etc/fetchmailrc .
ad 2.) Normalerweise wird es nach /var/mail/florian2 oder /var/spool/mail/florian2 (was nur ein link ist) gelegt. Schau mal ob dort was ist.
