ich kann auf einem Athlon Classic 500-System den Treiber
AMD-756 PCI Bus Master IDE Controller V1.36
nicht auf den
Eide_143s.exe upgraden.

Athlon Classic 500 Mhz
Mainboard Msi Ms-6167
Northbridge Amd-751
Southbridge Amd-756
Ms Windows XP Professional Deutsch mit Service Pack 1

REQUIREMENTS:
Motherboard with AMD-768, AMD-766, or AMD-756 Peripheral Bus Controller (Southbridge)
Windows 95/98/98SE/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP
UDMA/33 or UDMA/66 or UDMA/100 Hard Drive with appropriate cable (UDMA/66 and UDMA/100 drives require the 80 pin cable to operate at their rated speeds)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove the old AMD EIDE Driver if it is present through the Add/Remove Control Panel Applet.
2. RESTART the system.
3. Run the automated installation program, eide_xxx.exe, where xxx indicates the revision number.
4. RESTART the system.
Wenn ich den eide_143s.exe starte, kommt in Englisch:
AMD EIDE Driver Already Exists !
You cannot run this program as this driver has already been installed.

in Deutsch:
AMD-EIDE-Treiber existiert bereits!
Sie können dieses Programm nicht ausführen, da dieser Treiber schon installiert worden ist.
Tatsache ist aber, daß in Wirklichkeit die Version 1.36 installiert ist. Ich will aber die 1.43.
Wenn ich in den Gerätemanager gehe, also Start, Einstellungen, Systemsteuerungen, System, Hardware, Gerätemanager, IDE ATA/ATAPI-Controller und den AMD-756 PCI Bus Master IDE Controller V1.36 entferne muss ich neu starten. Wenn ich neu starte, wird sofort wieder der 1.36 automatisch installiert. Wenn ich nicht neu starte, kommt trotzdem die obige Fehlermeldung.
Da die Installations-Routine in einem Exe-File gepackt ist, das ich auch mit Winzip nicht aufmachen kann, kann ich auch nicht manuell installieren.
Kann mir da jemand einen Tip geben ?
