I followed the steps I always do. Make sure to install the
"kernel-source" rpm. (NOT the .src.rpm). Download the GLX .src.rpm
and the kernel-module.src.rpm. rpmbuild --rebuild them both, and
install them. Edit /etc/X11/XF86Config file to replace "nv" with
"nvidia". Start X, enjoy 3d.
Ich bin zwar noch nicht dazugekommen RH 8.0 auf meinen Desktop zu installieren, aber bei anderen in der Mailingliste funktioniert es ohne Probleme.

. Mandrake Linux 9.0 basiert auch auf gcc 3.2. Die aktuellen nVidia Treiber (1.0-3123) sind aber kompatibel
