Hi, ich hatte mit WIn98 und Soundblaster Live auch das Problem, das der PC nicht bootete!
Der Grund: Der SCSI-Controller vertrug sich nicht mit der SB Live (ich hatte Buslogic / Mylex-Controller). Mit Adaptec oder DawiCOntroller liefs wieder.
Probier mal einen anderen SCSI-Controller.
