Zu Bitboys kann ich nur sagen, dass sie "versprochen" hatten, noch 2001 in Volumen Chips zu liefern...nach einer Finanzspritze im Herbst 2000 von 1.6 Millionen € dürfte es den Jungs doch nicht schlecht gehen! Aber ich will mal nicht so hart mit denen ins Feld ziehen, vielleicht schaffen sie es noch eines Tages...
"Bitboys 3D graphics processors are planned to be incorporated on graphics accelerator add-in boards for upgrading existing PC's and be integrated in fully configured systems from various PC manufacturers. The processors will be in volume production in the second half of 2001. This new architecture may in the future be used in the graphics solutions of the Internet appliance, game console and mobile computing markets."
Gehen wir vom damaligen Stand der Technik aus, dann dürfte es mit den R300 und den NV30-ern für die Boys schlecht aussehen, egal, was sie bisher auf den White Papers zusammengeschrieben haben
