Auf der Website steht doch folgendes:
"Know bugs : on some PC configurations FS 2002 locks up after the welcome screen. Problem will be shortly fixed."
Vielleicht ist das genau Dein Problem...
Also etwas abwarten, ich probiere es gleich mal aus, ob es bei mir geht!
EDIT: Bei mir gehts wunderbar, dann muss Du (Peter) wohl auf den Fix warten
