Schau per rpm -qa | grep pppconfig ob du das Paket "pppconfig" draufhast, sonst besorg es dir unter Windoze.
Hat bei mir unter Debian VIEL weniger Probleme gemacht als das komische wvdial!
Und als Modem empfehle ich nachwievor das sehr gute U.S. Robotics 3Com 56k!
