As far as I know Matrox finished the initial design of the next generation chip that means they should now be in the testing phases. So my guess is that EXPECT AN ANNOUNCEMENT WITHIN 3-4 WEEKS. Unfortunately I can not share with you all the things I know, cause my friend will be very pissed to figure out I posted his comments here But, we all knew that R200 would not be able to take down GFORCE3 but I can tell you that the next generation Matrox chip , will be able to crush Gforce3 no problem

Sind natürlich nur vage Angaben aber jeder der nur irgendwie wirklich etwas genaues weiß würde sich aufgrund der NDA's in Teufels Küche begeben wenn er Details ausplaudert. Aber ich hab die Hoffnung auf einen neuen schnellen Matrox Chip nicht aufgegeben. Vergiß nicht die sind 25 Jahre im Business und waren schon Grafikkarten-King lange bevor 3dfx und Nvidia aufgetaucht sind.
Aber zurück zum Thema.
Immer noch keine Radeon 8500 Tests im Net obwohl in diversen Foren schon die ersten stolzen 8500 Besitzer posten. Hat ATI absichtlich die Karten für die Reviewer etwas verspätet verschickt ?
