Das stimmt nicht.
Bei meinem Duron 800:
Mit CPU-Cool zw. 36 und 40°C
Ohne CPU-Cool zw. 45 und 50°C
Ähnliche Werte bei meinem Athlon 1000 unter XP (um ein paar Grad höher).
Bezüglich Spiele: CPU-Cool schaltet sich bei Spielen automatisch aus.
