mal im rescue modus



d.h wenn du mit cd bootest

kommt ein screen wo du linux rescue eintippen kannst, dann bootet ein minilinux

mit dem du dir

filessysteme mounten kannst und dir per fdisk deine partitions anzeigen lassen kannst.

und nachdem du die root oder boot partition
gemountet hast kannst du dir auch die /boot/grub/grub.conf ansehen.

vergleiche grub.conf mit dem output aus dem command "fdisk -l /dev/hda" (ide) oder "fdisk -l /dev/sda" (scsi,sata)

um festzustellen, welche die boot platte ist und installier grub neu /sbin/grub-install /dev/hda denke ich
je nachdem wo du den Grub installiert hast.

mit command "dd if=/dev/hda count=1 | strings | grep 'GRUB'"
oder "dd if=/dev/sda count=1 | strings | grep 'LILO\|GRUB'"

kannst auch feststellen wo der grub installiert is. aber vorsicht!!!
nicht den MBR zerschiessen

17 : Cannot mount selected partition
This error is returned if the partition requested exists, but the filesystem type cannot be recognized by GRUB.
