Für mich hört sich das aber eher nach einem Problem an, das ich auch längere Zeit hatte:

There is a problem with a hardware setting on the Dell Latitude D620 systems.
This setting is called data executionprevention and it is on every new machine on standards.
This setting (D.E.P.) prevents malicious code from being run on a system.
It appears that this DEP is causing the BSOD.
It is also a software setting on Windows XP but is not as effective as the hardware setting so it seems that if the hardware portion is turn off the software setting does not cause the BSOD.
Our workaround for right now is to go into the BIOS and disable the D.E.P. setting.
You can do this by going into the security section of the BIOS on most systems and disabling DEP (sometimes referred to as CPU XD Support on the Dell systems)

Das Problem tritt natürlich nicht nur auf Dell-Rechnern auf, sondern kann auf allen Rechnern mit neuerer Intel-Cpu auftreten. (alle die das DEP-Feature unterstützen)
Also wenn du im Bios die genannte Data Execution Prevention hast und diese ist enabled, schalte sie einfach mal aus.
Schaden tuts nicht, kann aber sehr viel für die Stabilität des Systems bringen.
(Wenn es keinerlei Sinn machen würde, würde es diese Option im Bios nicht geben.)
