The QNH mechanism works like this:
1) outer ring.. to switch from Hg to Hpa
2) turn left and right will set QNH setting
3) push and pull to select standard(STD) or show value again.
This mechanism is very expensive to get so better to use something like a push/pull ( same as used for FCU) and maybe make a switch to select the Hg or Hpa.
