Based on a complete cockpit that will need to work... hardware, panels, knobs, leds ect ect that will cost at least between 10.000 - 20.000 euro then the software of PM is not even 1% of the whole price of your sim... And sure worth to have. Beside the support you get all the updates also for free!
Sorry but our hobby is expensive but it would be a shame if you would have a very nice looking cockpit but halve of it wouldnt work because you would try to save money on software. FreeFD is not something you can compair to PM
This goes of course for also other software that you need to pay for .. dont forget the whole development behind it that we dont see but only deal with the end of the results...
