Hier die Antwort von Vangelis (ein Mitglied des PMDG-Teams):
Gents,
This issue has been brought up in another thread in the forum. Regrettably, some default (or even addon) sceneries have their runways marked as bitumen or macadamus (meaning paved stone-way in simple English). If you take a default Cessna and taxi it around its suspension will look like it is coming off in bits. The PMDG 747 landing system has been developed with the highest possible accuracy in mind and therefore paved stoneways are not acceptable as landing or take off runways. The suspension system, will simple collapse in this case over 80 knots.
One possible solution is to disable crashes if you not sure about what sort of runway surface you are (or shall be ...) dealing with. Don't be fooled bu the "grayish" texture. Thats only for show.
The best solution is to use AFCAD II by Lee Swordy, a trully fantastic and totally freeware airport scenery editing tool and check and change the runway surface either to asphalt or concrete. It will just take three clicks. Search for AFCAD in this forum to see what other users report and also www.avsim.com's library.
Best,
Vangelis
Und hier noch ein Kommentar eines Anwenders:
That's the problem with the FS9, not PMDG. I have the very same problem if I land my LevelD 767 a bit harder. I also managed to land the 747 onto Changi with that "error". Which shows that it's just a slight sensitivity "misalignment" in the FS9.
So, either land with near 0 kts V/S, meaning very very carefully and softly OR just change this in the AFCAD. It took me less than 30sec for Changi airport.
Und zu guter Letzt noch die Antwort des Chefs (Robert Randazzo):
Gents-
This has been covered a number of times.
It is not and will not be put on the agenda as it is a problem with the ground contact modeling with FS9.
End of discussion.
It isn't often that I end threads in this tone- but the imperious and extraordinarily uninformed nature of some of the posts here require it.

Ich erspare mir solche Probleme durch das Abschalten der Absturzerkennung, da diese ohnehin nicht ganz realistisch ist.
