Bei mir (xampp1.4.14) gibt es eine apache_start.bat in der steht einfach der Aufruf
apache\bin\apache.exe
ohne irgendeinen Parameter. Ich bin mir zienmlich sicher das ich Apache nicht als Service installiert habe (es scheint zumindest unter "Dienste" nicht auf).
