nein ich habe Deine Blockschaltbilder nicht ignoriert...

... aber erklär mir doch mal den Unterschied zwischen zwischen "barometrischer Höhe" und "barometric altitude". Wir (und Mr. Boeing) schreiben doch exakt das Gleiche - oder etwa nicht?

Und die Definition von "barometric" oder "pressure altitude" gemäß ICAO ist nun einmal:

"Pressure Altitude—The altitude that corresponds to a GIVEN VALUE of atmospheric pressure according to the ICAO STANDARD ATMOSPHERE.
For aircraft flying above 18 000 feet MSL, it is the indicated altitude of a pressure altimeter at an altimeter setting of 1013.2 mb (29.92 in. of mercury); therefore, it is the indicated altitude above the 1013.2-mb constant-pressure surface. Aircraft flying below 18 000 feet MSL use the current altimeter setting as measured at the nearest airport and reported by air traffic control."

Also bezieht sich eine "barometric altitude" stets auf einen Luftdruck von 1013,25 hPa oder 29.92 inHG, nicht mehr und nicht weniger habe ich geschrieben.

Altitude encoding

In some flight conditions an aircraft must operate a transponder for traffic separation purposes. The transponder obtains altitude data from a special altitude encoding altimeter or from a blind encoder; the latter being an electronic device which obtains current atmospheric pressure from the static pressure line and the reference pressure used is preset at 1013.2 hPa. That same reference pressure is used for the altitude encoding function of the altimeter, thus the transponder broadcasts pressure altitude only.

Vielleicht würde ich mir an Deiner Stelle noch mal die Defintionen verschiedener Begriffe durchlesen.
