Can I create an array with hard drives from different manufacturers?
Yes. Keep in mind that if the drive capacities differ, the RAID controller will truncate the bigger hard drive so the drives match. The resulting difference in hard drive space is unusable, so avoid using hard drives of significantly different capacities. Also, it is not recommended to use drives with significantly different transfer rates or caches.

Ich glaub aber das oben beschriebenes mit fast jedem Raid-controller gehen sollte.
