Just download the fsbus software and install it on your computer... You dont need any plates to get it running but you can get a impression of how the software works and how it is build up and what is standard already in the dropdown list to use in your Flightsim.
Cockpitsonic is a very good choise to get your plates and if you cant solder them yourself you can also take the ready to use ones..
Ask Mathias for advice and what in your case would be the best solution. Mathias can help you out in this and also can give you support. And if he doesnt know it he can ask me
I have about everything that is used in the FS connected via FSbus if it is PM or AST or the basic FS fucntions.
And belive me .... a year ago i didnt even know how to solder a pin and with the great support of Mathias i manage now to get everything almost to run and yes in some cases i have no clue how i do it but as long as it works i am fine with it
Just pay attention to the new boards Dirk is creating with more advance options.. I dont know if it is already be possible to order them on the website of cockpitsonic but i sure Mathias will arrange something when you ask him
