fast wäre es mir auch so ergangen, mit dem unterschied, dass bei mir das internet erst wieder ging, als ich webhancer über windows software deinstallierte
also lieber über windows software deinstallieren und dann manuell den rest rauslöschen ( siehe oben), bevor noch weiteres unheil geschieht

I installed this software, ran it a minute and determined I did not want it. I deleted the software using the control panel applet. I then ran ad aware 4.5 and confirmed it has left the webhancer spyware junk on my system. I let ad aware remove it. I then lost internet connectivity upon reboot. The "fix" is to get the webhancer spyware and install it. Then use the control panel applet to remove it, which actually leaves it on your system, but disabled. This software replaces .dll files Windows requires for networking. Even reinstalling windows98 didn't fix the problem. I will have to format my hard drive to get rid of this garbage. Anyone interested in a class action lawsuit?
