Ausrufezeichen Kompatibilität Fly! 1 <-> 2

Here are some answers:

(1) Aircraft. At a minimum, a new info file (.nfo) needs to be created for older aircraft. This is a very tiny file, and we'll probably provide an automated tool to generate the .nfo file (though it can be done by hand as well.) This will allow old aircraft to operate within Fly!, though without the cool new features like higher resolution artwork, our new articulated models, new landing/taxi lights, etc. But, they should work.

(2) Scenery (models). Fly! II supports the old .BIN model format, so old scenery files should work as-is with no conversion. We do recommend any new models be created in the SMF format, which offers some speed advantages.

(3) Scenery (terrain). We will be providing a converter to convert version 1.0 TerraScene and satellite scenery sets to Fly! II format. Again, there are some disadvantages to this -- older TerraScene will still only be 15m resolution, whereas if you recreated the same area with Fly! II you could get up to 7.5m resolution. Once converted, the scenery will ONLY work in Fly! II; you cannot move it back and forth between Fly! 1.0.

(4) Maps. All maps in 1.0 format should work as-is in Fly! II.

(5) Taxiways. The taxiway system remains the same in Fly! II, and users can continue using the Fly! 1.0/2K taxiway editor to create new taxiways.
