The 'downside' to the day was that I was offered to up-date Windows,
and Service Pack 2 was offered. So I did. Worst day's work I ever did.
I couldn't even turn the computer on after that. So Toodles has had to spend every spare moment since he got home yesterday evening
re-installing *everything*.
There ought to be some sort of 'greetings' card one can send on such
occasions.
"Roses are red, violets are blue,
your computer won't boot,
with service pack 2"
