about:blank ist nur ein alias. Wo der hinzeigt steht in HKLM\Sodftware\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AboutURLs .
Er sollte res://mshtml.dll/blank.htm lauten.
Dort kann man auch neue Einträe anlegen, z.B. about: orf mit tv.orf.at/program/orf1 als url, dann kommt man mit about: orf zum ORF Fernsehprogramm.
