1, das ding is so zum sich spielen toll, aber schwer und nicht wirklich ausbaufähig.... nimm lieber einen ordentlichen riegel RAM rein, das bringt hier eher was.
das geht so:
Removing the Keyboard
The computers keyboard must be removed in order to access the memory expansion board slots.
Shut down the computer. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. Disconnect the power cord and remove any battery packs from the computer.
Release the keyboard by successively inserting a paper clip or similar instrument into both the keyboard releases. 1
Lift 2 the keyboard.
Removing a Memory Expansion Board
Pull away the retention clips on each side of the memory expansion board 1 . The memory expansion board tilts upward.
Lift the edge of the memory expansion board 2 and slide it gently out of the memory expansion slot at a 45-degree angle.
Place the memory expansion board in an electrostatic-safe container.
Close the keyboard.
dann hast du aller wahrscheinlichkeit nach bis zu 160 mb ram ( mehr is nicht supported, aber das kann dir ja echt
egal sein) .
das bringt noch am meisten .
und 2, die cpu´s die in den alten compaqs drinnen sind sind entweder normale pentiums oder die mobile varianten- wenn die dinger nicht festgelötet sind ( wie anscheinend bei dem book) gibt es chancen ersatz zu kriegen, aber der ist meist schweineteuer....
vielleicht noch ein wenig techspecs: laut den quickspecs sind die module sdrams, 66er , standard aufgelötet sind 32 mb und zusteckbar max 128 mb ( supported). glaubt jemand das das normale module sind? ich glaub wohl eher nicht.....( könnts checken wenns von interesse ist).
