Laut Asrock-Site:
In today's AMD CPU, the maximum FSB speed is 266Mhz. Therefore, DDR266 memory's tranmission rate corresponds the optimal transmission rate of AMD CPUs with 266Mhz FSB. For AMD CPU with 266Mhz FSB, it does not make much sense to buy a motherboard supporting DDR333 because the optimal data transmission rate of DDR333 is 333Mhz - much higher than the CPU FSB of 266Mhz. The cost of MBs with KT266A/KM266 chipset is much less than KT333. For AMD CPU @266Mhz FSB, ASRock recommends MBs using KT266A/KM266 chipset than KT333 to have a more effective cost/performance ratio.
For AMD CPU supporting FSB 333Mhz (very expensive now), ASRock recommends users to consider AGP 8X feature in their MBs to get better VGA performance.
Wenn er also auf 266 jumpert, wird der Speicher net funzen, es sei denn er gibt an 266er rein.Der 400er rennt nicht mitn Duron, und bringt a nix.
