Eurowings Professional – ATR42 / 72 Announced - Neustes aus der Addon-Szene

Aerosoft, Flight1 Software and the Eurowings Professional Developer Team today announced ATR42/72 commuter aircraft standalone project, taken from the “Eurowings Professional” package, redone and released for FS2002. It contains a complete simulation of ATR42–300, ATR42-500,
ATR72–200, ATR72–212 and ATR72–500 as well as ATR72–200 freight and ATR72–200/72 with 72 seats. Aircraft models have been designed using
FSDS2 and feature reflections, opening doors and landing lights in addition to other details. Flight model was prepared and created with help and support by real life ATR captains in Eurowings airline. Various panel displays in the cockpit will run smoother and are more readable due to the modern vector–gauge technology with subpixel
rendering and anti-aliasing. Some other features include the option of choosing a digital VSI including TCAS in all of the aircrafts, realistic cockpit announcements by the co-pilot, in three different accents, real sound recorded in real aircraft and more. With the help and support by ATR captains of Eurowings AG these aircraft have realistic flight dynamics. The package is scheduled for release next week and brings 7 different types and 22 liveries. Additionally, Load Editor, Cockpit Configurator, Livery Installer and route database EW planner are also included.

Hmmm, standalone Produkt, kriegen die ATRs dann auch mal ein authentisches FMC ? Oder bleibt da immer noch das Boeing Teil mit den noch nicht mal entfernten, weil sinnlosen VNAV-relevanten Seiten/Einträgen drin ?

Es bleibt das Smith-FMC. Übrigens hat das keine VNAV-Seiten....

aber die Buttons dafür :rolleyes: ziemlich unsinnig oder?

Ähm... hast Du schon mal ein ATR-FMS gesehen???

Ein reales? nein, nur glaube ich irgendwie nicht das es CLB/CRZ Buttons hat...bei eurer ATR öffnet sich ja das Dreamfleet 737-400 FMC, nur halt das CLB/CRZ/N1 Limit/... ohne Funktion sind und natürlich ein wenig auf die ATR abgestimmt wurde (gewichte ect.).

Oder reden wir jetzt aneinander vorbei?

Nein, tun wir nicht. Nur hat auch das richtige ATR-FMS (sofern es ein Honeywell GNSS HT1000 - ATR baut da auf Wunsch sicherlich auch andere Modelle, z.B. ein Smith wie in der 737 ein) unnütze Knöpfe für's VNAV:

Die Funktion der Geräte ist zu 99% identisch, daher frage ich mich, weshalb ich mir die Mühe machen soll, nur der Geräte-Optik wegen ein extra FMS zu programmieren. Das wäre nicht nur völlige Zeitverschwendung sondern regelrecht schwachsinnig.

Hmm, ok Punkt für dich :D, das wusste ich nicht das auch die reale ATR diese dummy Knöpfe hat...

Ich gebe mich geschlagen :)

Ne, aber diverse Einträge auf einigen Seiten, die ohne VNAV Funktionalität/Autothrottle keinen Sinn machen. Ich nehme mal an, du weisst schon was ich meine :)

Schade, dass nicht mal ein wirklich authentisches FMC für die Turboprops gemacht wird, auch PSS hat ja einige Funktionalität bei der Dash-8 wegrationalisiert.
Naja, ist aber auch blöd dass jedes Designerteam das FMC-Rad neu erfinden muss. Bei EWPro mit den drei Flugzeugtypen konnte ich schon verstehen, dass man lieber ein bestehendes dazukauft und irgendwie dranfrickelt. Aber bei nem Standalone-Produkt ???

Aber es stimmt schon. N1 Limit, CLB, CRZ und DES machen nicht wirklich sind. Soweit ich weiß, sind die aber auch wirklich komplett totgelegt. Die Perf Init-Seite gibt's aber wirklich.
