Watch out for mirror platinen (PCB)
 

Inside the ZIP file of FsServo is the component side a wrong picture (FsServo.JPG) it is mirrored. So i have now the wrong PCB. :( I think the maker of my PCB had used that file. Also my display's PCB are mirrored. He also used the wrong layout. :ms: I was checking the Decimal Point. Hmmm. Funny... Not good. :confused: At least the COM platine is allright so i can go further with the project, with a small delay. I will check the pictures on my website. Thanks to the website of the Fins guy's i discovered it before soldering. So advise: always check before, and double check, just like the preflight. :)

Your PBC is not neccessarily lost. You should give it try to solder it from the upper side. If you got a fairly small tip on your soldering-tool it's really not that hard to do and works equally good.
Just give it a try! I'm frequently working with double-sided PBC's where you have to solder from the top all the time.

Yes I know i can do that but it's just because i don't like it. It's not nice and it's not the way it should be. Correct me if i'm wrong but do you have the layout of the display pcb in a Eagle format. I've found a firm in holland they can make my PCB but i must deliver it in a Eagle format. (The display pcb, the one with all the Display's. The pcb with the pic16f84 is allright.:) ) I'm waiting on a email of them, maybe they can read also the Gerber format, what is deliverd in the ZIP files.

I understand that you don't want to solder from the top side. Seems we're sharing that special sense for pefection :)

Unfortunately I don't have any eagle files of that PBC you mention.
You should definately contact Dirk regarding those.
You find his email on www.fsbus.de (unless he finds this thread first.)

i am sorry to cause that confusion with mirroring. Unfortunatly my pcb software mirrors the copperlayer, but not the font.
I have written this on my download side, but who reads this?

I cannot send any eagle file, because i don't use it.

Just we have forgot it, about the Display's. He is working on a new one. :D My maker of the PCB is also following the project. And more Dutch guy's are coming to build you're project. Nice.
