Laptop BIOS
 

Hallo Leute
ich lese regelmäßig hier im forum, und hab schon öfter hilfe gefunden. An dieser stelle einmal ein danke dafür.
Jetzt hab ich aber ein problem, wo ich auch mit der suchfunktion nicht weiter komme. Ich hab am laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro 440CDT die festplatte formatiert und von win95 auf 98 gewechselt. Am original 95er hatte ich toshiba utilities(ein programm auf der windows oberfläche mit den Bios einstellungen zb bootmanager uä.)Das ist jetzt natürlich weg und es stellt sich mir die frage, wie komm ich ins Bios. Hab schon alle möglichen und unmöglichen tastenkombinationen versucht, aber nichts. Ich schau mal ob's dieses tool auch für 98 wo gibt, aber es muß doch eine möglichkeit geben ins Bois zu kommen.

generalpasswort eingeben.
jumper am motherboard setzen.
batterie mittels zb. büroklammer kurzschliessen.


persönlich würde ich eine mail an toshiba senden und das generalpasswort bzw. weitere vorgangsweise erfragen.

Oder probiere das einmal......

Steps
1. Power up computer from off condition with ESC key depressed. Unit will display "Check system. Then press (F1) key"
2. Release the ESC key, press the F1 key. This will put the unit into the BIOS setup screen.
3. Using the arrow or tab keys move to the password field, highlight NOT REGISTERED.
4. Press the SPACEBAR, enter the password at the "Password = " prompt, press ENTER
5. The computer will prompt for the password again (verification), enter password, press enter. At this time the password field will change to REGISTERED. Subsequent boots will require the password.
6. Press END to save and "Y" to exit.

Du brauchst natürlich nur bis Punkt 2. gehen. Dann hast ja schon erreicht was du willst. Du bist dann im Biossetup.

nun ja karl - wenn du gleich die richtige tastenkombi ausgräbst aus deinem fundus ;)
