apache konfiguration

Wie kann ich beim Apache Webserver (Version 1.irgendwas) einstellen, welche Files er automatisch anzeigt, wenn man nur eine URL mit einem / am Schluss angibt?

Mein Server zeigt nur index.html an.
Ich hätt aber gern, dass er auch sofern vorhanden index.php anzeigt.

Ich hoff die Problembeschreibung ist soweit verständlich.

/etc/apache/httpd.conf und schau auf zeile 780... dort auskommentiern...

bitte sag mir, was in der zeile stehn soll. dann find ichs leichter. hab nämlich meine httpd.conf schon verändert. daher stimmen die zeilennummern nimmer.

bei apache v1.3.20 schauts (bei mir) so aus:
