redhat 7.3 scrollmaus
 

hi

ich weiss das diese frage sicher schon oft
gestellt wurde aber kann mir jemand vielelicht verraten warum meine scrollmaus unter redhat 7.3 nicht funtzt?
imwheel-0.9.8-1 habe ich installiert
ist imwheel vielleicht ein daemon der beim hochfahren vielleicht jedesmal gestartet werden muss?
wass muss in der Section "Pointer" in der /etc/X11/XF86Config stehen?
Momentan steht da bei mir

selbst mit den folgenden eintrag und mehrmaligen rebooten gings nicht

bin schon so verzweifelt das ich bald suse aufsetzten werde auf dem rechner und dann die XF86Config rueber kopiere

ps: momentan finde ich das SuSE und Debian die besten Distris sind

Mein MS IntelliMouse Explorer (USB) funktioniert problemlos. Welche Maus verwendest du?

benutze eine ganz normale ps2 noname maus (kann auch sein logitech, steht aber nix drauf)
unter jeden andren linux geht die maus sofort nur unter redhat und windoof nicht.

Eine normale PS/2 Maus die nicht unter Windows läuft :verwirrt:

Normalerweise sollte die Scrollmouse mit Protocol "IMPS/2" funktionieren?

Moment... du musst den Eintrag in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 ändern :)

Hab das Protocol inder XF86Config-4 geaendert und schon funtzt es ;-)
Haetten die nicht wie jedes andre Linux die Xf86Config nehmen koennen?
