AMD senkt Preise

AMD senkt Preise: Athlon-Prozessoren bis zu 52 Prozent billiger

Als Reaktion auf die Preissenkungen des Konkurrenten Intel hat jetzt auch AMD die Preise für seine Prozessoren gesenkt.

Vor allem die Preise der Athlon XP für mobile Computer wurde drastisch reduziert. So kostet der 1700+ Chip jetzt nur noch 235 US-Dollar statt 489. Eine Preissenkung von immerhin 52 Prozent.

Aber auch PCs können jetzt günstiger mit Athlon XP Chips bestückt werden. Der Preis für einen 2100+ sank von 330 US-Dollar auf 224, eine Senkung um 32 Prozent. Zahlreiche weitere Prozessoren, wie die 2000+ und 1900+, wurden ebenfalls stark verbilligt.
