Es gibt eine neue(?) Firmware fürs USR 8000:

Es ist die Version 1.25.

- Add "MAC Address Control" feature. It enables you
1) MAC level Access Control
2) Assign the mapping between MAC and IP address for
the DHCP server
- Add a feature to send Wake-on-LAN frame from LAN or
WAN side.
- Allow user to edit the MAC Address of the WAN port.
- Solve incompatible issue with ETHome Cable.
- Enlarge timeout for print server to solve some printing
problems.
- Fix a potential security hole: system password can be
snooped at the IE History folder.
- Virtual Server now supports port range. For example,
you can configure a Virtual Server for ports 2000-2999.

also die änderungen sind gar nicht schlecht
paar sinnvolle features sind dabei

Es gibt schon ersion 1.27.
