Prob mit Win98-Installation

ich war heut bei einem bekannten, der einen neuen pc bekommen hat
er will win98 oben habn, meinetwegen
mit win98-startdisk gebootet, setup eingegeben, scandisk für eine 1/10 sekunde gesehen, reboot
was is da los?

config:

duron 900 @ 45°
256mb infineon
ibm 60gxp 60gb

das kann so gut wie alles sein!

RAM, HDD, NT, Mobo... pff.. wenn möglich soll er alle Komponenten einzeln testen in einem anderen System!
