Überhitzung bei Compaq M700 Laptops
 
Notice To All Compaq M700 Laptop Users

Compaq has recently announced that some Compaq M700's have an issue with overheating. There have been incidents where the plastic casing has been warped. Compaq has recommended the following BIOS update to rectify the issue.

If you have a Compaq M700 you must install this update immediately.

BIOS Update Installation Instructions

Your laptop must be plugged in before running the update. Do not attempt to run this update while on battery power.

This process will require you to shutdown your PC. Please ensure all work is saved and applications are closed before attempting to install.

1.Save the file, M700BIOS.EXE locally.
2.Close all programs.
3.Using windows explorer, navigate to where you have saved the file and double-click on M700BIOS.EXE.
