probleme mit masquerading

gruess euch...

ich habe redhat linux 7.1 aufgesetzt für firewall und masquerading...
habe es erst nach langem hin und her geschafft eine chain so zu legen, dass ich übers private netz ins internet komme..

und jetzt, wenn das internet ein paar minuten nicht benutzt wird dann kommt ein fehler
spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7

und etwas später
apm: busy ... (oder so ähnlich)

dann kann ich nur mehr neu starten und dann gehts wieder eine zeit lang..
hab keine ahnung was apm ist oder woran der fehler liegt...
ich bitte um hilfe damit das endlich funktioniert!
der rechner: P133 32MBRAM irgendeine oak grafikkarte ISA die eh nicht wirklich funktioniert), kernel 2.4.2-2,...

Hab selber grad' neu aufgesetzt:
Debian 2.2r2 mit viel "testing" :)
Kernel 2.4.12

... selbe Meldung:
spurious 8259A interrupt: IRQ7

... und sonst auch keine Probleme damit.

ich denke ich verwende iptables..

mit NAT

musste nur eine regel festsetzen - danach hat es funktioniert

dann wird es wohl an der anderen meldung liegen..

apm: busy: parameter out of range

alle ca 10 sec.

Hi!

IMHO

APM = advanced power management.

Vielleicht kannst es im BIOS disablen, bzw. raus damit aus dem Kernel.

habe so eigestellt dass der daemon nicht gestartet wird...
