Max Payne Problem
 

Nach dem Into und der ersten Sequenz /The American Dream hängt sich das Game beim Laden zu Part 1: Roscoe Street Station bei m Titelbild einfach auf :(

Habe schon dern Patch auf 1.01 gemacht, aber nix gefunzt.

Wer weiß einen Rat??

Sieh ziemlich verbugt aus das Teil. Habe mich in anderen Foren umgesehen und viele haben das selbe Problem!

Ein paar gute Betatestings hätten dem Ding sicher nicht geschadet. Und der Patch auf 1.01 bringt auch nichts! :heul:

Vielleicht sind diese Zeilen hilfreich. Da Du ein Zip-Drive Atapi 100 intern hast würde ich die betreffende Zeile genauer ins Auge fassen ;)

The game appears to have installed properly but when I try to play it, it doesn't recognize the game CD in the drive.

If you have an internal ZIP drive, insert a ZIP disk into the drive before playing.

You must use the original CD provided with the game. Copies will not work.

Make sure no other programs are running in the background (ie: Anti-Virus, Nuts & Bolts, etc.).

If your game doesn't require a joystick to play, disable the joystick in System Properties.

Most CD- rewriters are incompatible with copy protected software and should not be used.

If the game is expecting to find a CD in another letter drive than the one you are currently using, change the drive letter of your CD-ROM to whatever the program is expecting: Control Panel, System, Device Manager, CD-ROM, right click on your CD-ROM and select Properties, Settings, change start and end drive letter to whatever
drive letter the program is expecting.

Make sure the CD and your CD-ROM drive is clean. Go to your CD ROM manufacturers website and download the most current drivers.

@Weasel: Nein, hat nicht funktioniert!

Aber: Ich habe es zum laufen gebracht!

Der Fehler lag wieder einmal im Grafiktreiber. Ich hatte nich den Asustreiber für meine GraKa installiert. Diesen habe ich entfernt, und durch den aktuellsten Nvidia-Detonatortreiber ersetzt :D

Sollte es noch immer hi und da hängen ... ganz einfach auf 800x600 stellen (sofern du 1024x768 benutzt) ... das hat bei mir gehilft *lol*
