Nur dimms mit weniger als 16 chips verwenden

Ich hab heute bei pccompany ein aopen ax3s mobo (intel 815e) ergattert. Etwas verwirrt hat mich folgende warnung in der anleitung:

Leider hab ich nur pc133 dimms die doppelseitig sind und 16 chips haben. Ich vermute dass ich im fall von 16chip dimms nicht alle 3 slots verwenden kann. Die installation von w2k funzt bis jetzt mit einem 128mb 16chip dimm einwandfrei. Später teste ichs dann mit 2. Hat jemand eine ahnung was es damit auf sich hat?

richtig vermutet, der letzte ramslot darf nur mit einseitigen verwendet werden sonst a, startet die kiste gar nicht mehr, b, schmiert sie gleich wieder ab.

Danke, hab ich mir gedacht, mittlerweilen funzt es mit 2 16chip rams. Zu erwähnen dass nur 2 slots mit 16chip dimms bestückt werden dürfen hätte wohl das budget von aopen überschritten, genau so wie ein gedrucktes manual statt einer online version auf cd (bei einem mobo ein starkes stück). Sag mal, ist das kein Irrtum? Du hattest kein Handbuch dabei?
Hatte zwar noch nie ein MB von AOpen, aber das kommt mir doch seltsam vor. Frag mal beim Händler, ob auch bei anderen AOpen-Boards kein Handbuch beigegeben ist.

Nein das handbuch ist auf cdrom, dabei war nur ein quickinstallposter ähnlich denen von hp. Darauf werden zwar die wichtigsten stecker und jumper erklärt aber das gelbe vom ei ist es nicht.
