IRDA Simulator wie einsetzen?
 

Guten Abend,

Unter diesem Link den ich beim Googlen gefunden habt beschreibt jemand wie man unter Linux und Windows ein virtuelles Infrarotgerät einrichtet.

Wozu kann das nützlich sein? Wie kann ich jetzt das virtuelle Infrarotgerät ansprechen bzw. mit welcher Software kann ich das Ganze jetzt vernünftig nutzen bzw. testen?

Du solltest Dich mal drüber informieren was IrDA ist und kann, bevor Du einen Simulator einsetzen willst.

Ja soweit habe ich es verstanden ein Gerät was im Laptop ist und Daten zb. Vom Notebook ans Handy sendet.

Ich weiß nur nicht was kann ich wenn ich den virtuellen Infrarottreiber installiert habe also die virtuelle Infrarotschnittstelle unter Windows installiert habe damit konkret anfangen?

Kann ich z..B. ein infrarotfähiges Handy dranhalten und es wird erkannt? Wohl kaum...

Da es eine vituelle Schnittstelle ist, sorgt diese dafür, daß ein Programm welches Daten über IrDA empfängt, diese auch von einer anderen Schnittstelle erhalten kann (entsprechend aufbereitet). Ebenso ist das Programm funktionstüchtig ohne physischer Schnittstelle.

Ok also kann ich damt quasi die Datenübeertragung simulieren

Steht da "Simulator"?

Nein aber ich stell mir das so vor dass ich den Treiber installiere meine Infrarotsoftware lade diese den Treiber erkennt und ich sie dann nutzen kann diese z.b.

Willst du mich jetzt verarschen? Schau dir mal deinen Link aus dem Eröffnungsposting an. Da steht "SIMULATOR" dabei.

Und ja. Z.B. für sowas. Aber ob DU damit was anfangen kannst, kann dir hier niemand beantworten.
