USB-Modem legt auf?

Kann mir jemand 1 Tipp geben, was das denn soll? Habe HP2133 mit USB-Modem Novatel MC950D (Betreiber: b-free, System SUSE Linux Desktop 10 SP2) und bekomme nun beim Verbinden keine Verbindung mehr, sondern folgende Meldung: SuSE Meta pppd (smpppd-ifcfg), Version 1.59 on linux-3pl6.
