Hilfe bei Mytraffic 5.0b
 

Hallo!
Also, ich bin ein völliger Anfänger was den Traffic betrifft. Aber ich wollte etwas Leben in meinen FSX bringen und so hab ich mir mytraffic besorgt!

aaalso nun zu meinem problem:
hab alles so weit installiert und danach fsx gestartet! aber leider kein traffic weit und breit? muss ich da irgendetwas aktivieren oder so? bitte helft mir!

MyTraffic kenn ich nicht, deshalb die ganz allgemeine Frage:
Hast Du generell den Traffic im FSX zugelassen ?

Installation

MyTraffic comes as a self extracting archive that has to be installed into FSX.

Some more manual actions have to be taken before MyTraffic can work properly. This is due to the design concept that not all FSX files are in the <FSX> main directory, but settings are distributed to the user profiles, the all user profile and several directories inside FSX.

1. All MyTraffic related things, the aircrafts, airports, schedules and the editor can be found under the <FSX>\MyTraffic folder now. Therefore, you have to tell FSX to use it. To do so, every user of the computer who wants to use MyTraffic has to browse to his user profile to the application folder. If your name is Bill, on a US-English system the name of this is typically "C:\documents and settings\Bill\application data\Microsoft\FSX", on German systems it is "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Bill\Anwendungsdaten\Microsoft\FSX".

If you once have run FSX, this folder will exist. You will have to go here at several occasions, so get familiar to it.

Edit the file fsx.CFG using the Editor/Notepad. Not far from the top you will find the following section:User Objects=Airplane, Helicopter
SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes
SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft
SimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehicles
SimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\Boats
SimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\Animals
SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc

Add the following line:

SimObjectPaths.6=MyTraffic\aircraft

If another addon already used the .6, use the next free number, and keep them in order.

Second, in the MyTRaffic main folder, you find a file called "dll.xml". Case you not have a file of this name in your user profile, copy this to the directory where you just modified FS9.cfg. If you have a version, and traffictoolbox does not yet show up, add the following section:

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Traffic Toolbox</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>MyTraffic\traffictoolbox.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>

just above </SimBase.Document>.



Last, please start FSX now. Go to the scenery library dialog, and add <FSX>\MyTraffic as scenery. Note that the change will be stored in scenery.cfg in the all users profile, the copy of scenery.cfg in the <FSX> folder will be unchanged. I strongly recommend that after you successfully changed the scenery settings, you replace the <FSX>scenery.cfg by a copy of the one under the all users settings.

Now you are done, enjoy MyTraffic!

da sind aber sehr viele Dinge händisch zu erledigen, die eigentlich von einem Installer gemacht werden könnten.
Hätte ich nicht gedacht.
Die Art der Einträge ist natürlich verständlich. Danke für den Hinweis, obwohl ich das Paket nicht habe und nicht benutzen werde.

ja, den traffic unter optionen hab ich schon nach oben gedreht... hilft aber nicht viel - deswegen hab ich mir ja auch mytraffic besorgt ;)!!

Danke wolfgang... die anleitung hab ich dann mal komplett übersehen, tut mir leid!
danke für die rasche antwort! werde es gleich morgen ausprobieren und euch berichten wies mir ergangen ist!

eine frage hätte ich noch: was sind AFCAD's???

AFCAD Dateien benötigt man um die Wege und Gates auf einem Airport zu definieren - das ist quasi nötig damit die AI-Flieger nicht neben oder quer über die Wege des Airport rollen und es wird auch genau definiert wo die Gates sind...
