Firefox "Error: couldn't send request"
 

Mein Firefox (Version 1.5.0.7) hat neuerdings folgende Meldung...
Er macht dass beim ersten Aufruf des Browsers ohne dass man eine Seite aufruft. Ich nehme an er will "mit was" Kontakt aufnehmen - ohne dass ich ihm das angeschafft habe. Hab schon ein paar Extensions auszuschalten und das Auto-Update deaktiviert, aber er macht's noch immer.
Any ideas?

Had the same problem yesterday - found error message to pop up only if Firefox was opened when pc was offline.

In my case a new addon "Temporary Inbox" was trying to go online resulting in error massage.
With Temporary Inbox deactivated the annoyance was gone.

Maybe already you have found your own way out - otherwise deactivate all extension and activate one at a time to find the "sinner"

I didn't post my solution because there weren't any replies, but it was the same extension as in your case. I de-activated all extension after another and ended up with "Temporary inbox" as well. I guess they had some server error at that time.

Auf deutsch geht es wohl auch.

War richtig erstaunt nur deine Frage und keine Hilfe zu finden.

Serverfehler?? Kann wohl auch Programfehler sein - jedenfalls besteht das Problem auch im neuester Version.

Ich habe Kommentar zu Temporary Inbox gemacht. Vielleicht bringt das eine Lösung.

Programidee ist wohl ganz gut

Apparently I was the only one who had this problem at that time. Let's see if they do same changes after your commentary.

Na ich wünschte mein Dänisch wäre so gut wie Dein Deutsch ;)
