in "hacking exposed" steht:

unverständlich daran ist mir:

1.) wie kommen die auf auf 65.536? /24 bedeutet für mich 256-2 mögliche hosts/subnet und wieviele solche einträge ich davon in einer routing table habe ist nur durch den zur verfügung stehenden speicher begrenzt, oder?

2.) wieso ist überhaupt die abspeicherung eines /24 (oder meinetwegen auch größer) netzwerks im speicher ein problem? BGP behandelt ja sowieso keine einzelnen hosts, nur subnetze, da ist die deklaration eines /24-netzes doch auch nur ein eintrag, oder?

ich bitte um erleuchtung.
