Software für WLAN Management

Hallo Leute!

Hab ein WLAN zu Hause und wollte fragen welche Software es gibt, um die Verbindung am Laptop zu managen.
Da ich am Router WAP2 eigestellt habe, denke ich, dass ich eine aktuellere Software dazu brauche...

Habs zuerst mit Odyssey probiert, aber der unterstützt nur WAP...

Welche Software? Ist eher vom Treiber abhängig.

die "Konfigurationsfreie drahtlose Verbindung" (wireless zero config) von winxp kann doch mit WPA2 umgehen! (wenn das WPA2-update von microsoft eingespielt ist und vorausgesetzt der karten-treiber unterstützt es)

warum hast du eigentlich von wpa auf wpa2 umgestellt?
wpa ist doch sicher genug (zumindest für die nächste zeit und wenn der wpa-psk nicht zu simpel gewählt ist)

aso... das wusste ich nicht, dass das eh sicher genug ist...

dann werde ich wieder auf wpa umstellen..

Bei der WLAN-Karte am Laptop ist anscheinend eh eine Software dabei, mit der die Einstellungen möglich sind...

werd mich damit mal ein wenig spielen...

Da fällt mir doch gleich eine Frage ein.
Gibt von MS Schon die Möglichkeit für eine AES Unterstützung?
Oder kommt das erst?

mit dem wpa2 update unterstützt microsoft bereits die aes-verschlüsselung! (ist bei wpa2 pflicht; tkip ist da nur mehr optional)
