ActiveSky Server Down!
 

LEider ist seit mehreren Stunden der ASV Server Down.
Ich wollte jetzt einen Flug machen und nix geht und ohne Real-Wetter fliege ich sicherlich nicht mehr.

Tja leider merke ich jetzt, wie abhängig man schon von diesem Tool ist.

hmm, dass ist aber komisch. Bei mir läuft alles normal. Ich fliege auch gerade. Und ActiveSky5 holt die Weterdaten, wie gewohnt, vom Server.

Hmm glaub ich fast nicht, schau mal ob Du wirklich die neueseten Daten hast, oder ob er alte verwendet.


Im ASV Forum wird das Problem auch bestätigt.

stimmt! Du hast recht. Meine Daten sind vom 19 Februar. Hmm, das ist ja blöd. Hoffentlich bekommen die das Problem schnell wieder in den Griff.

Irgendwie bin ich jetzt schön langsam verärgert.

Die Downtime von ActiveSky beträgt jetzt schon ca. 24h.

Kann ja wohl nicht wahr sein, dass bei einem Payware-Produkt, welches hunderte User benutzen und von einem Serverdienst abhängig ist, kein Backup-Server zur Verfügung steht, falls der Hauptserver ausfällt.

Vielleicht mal das Vatsim Wetter nehmen, weiß jetzt allerdings nicht wie alt das immer ist

der ASV server scheint erst seit dem 19/20.07.05 Down zu sein. Im AVSIM_ASV Forum wird derzeitig heftig darüber gemosert. Download aus dem Archiv klappt (anderer Server ?).
Falls andere Probleme auftauchen schaut Euch den Patch an:

ASV Service Update 2 (B325)

This addresses the following issues:

1) Some systems could not execute the mip/no mip conversion in AE, or would receive “Runtime Error 6 – Overflow”. Fixed.
2) Chinese date format could cause “Main Thread Process Error”. Fixed.
3) ActiveRadarConnector problem with certain drive/path names has been fixed.
4) Auto VAS-Point Generation could cause thermals that provided excessive lift all the way to the ground, making landings difficult and unrealistic. Fixed. Now VAS points will not activate when less then 300ft AGL.
5) When certain problems with a wx file download occurred, certain temporary files might remain and old weather would appear to not update. Fixed.
6) Wind reported as 360 (direction, true) would appear as 036 (direction, true). Fixed. Now 360 will correctly show as “000 degrees true”.

Ich frag mich was da los ist und nicht innerhalb von 24h zu beheben.
