RNAV (GNSS)??
 

Kann mir bitte jemand die Bedeutung der Buchstaben "GNSS" erklären.

Im WWW habe ich nichts gefunden :( RNAV ist klar - nur GNSS :confused:

GLOBAL NAVIGATION SATELLITE SYSTEMS

An "umbrella" term adopted by the international civil aviation organization (ICAO) to encompass any independent navigation system used by a pilot to perform onbord position determinator from the satellite data.

GNSS = global navigation satellite system, also der Sammelbegriff für GPS (=global psitioning system), GLONASS (=global navigation and satellite system) und dem künftigen Galileo.

Vielen Danke an euch beide :) - man lernt doch nie aus!


Eine Frage noch: Darf man den entsprechenden Approach dann nur fliegen, wenn man mit einem GPS/GLONASS ausgestattet ist? "INS only" reicht dann nicht, oder?

Kommt drauf an ob die auch noch VOR/DME Procedures anbieten, und diese auch erlaubt sind.
